November 30, 2010: The annual review of the mandatory Residential Agreement to Buy or Sell and the Residential Property Disclosure Form has been completed. Related information about each form, as amended, is contained herein.
2011 RESIDENTIAL AGREEMENT TO BUY OR SELL
AMENDMENTS AND DOCUMENT USE INFORMATION:

  • Mandatory use of the amended form will become effective January 1, 2011. The amended form is not approved for use prior to this date.
     
  • See Section 37:1449.1 of the LA Real Estate License Law for additional information about the use of this form.
2011 FORMAT AND STYLE:
  • A standard legal document in PDF format is provided by the LREC.
     
  • Users are not prohibited from using a letter size document of their own creation; however, it is the responsibility of the user to ensure that line numbers and line references coincide.
     
  • Changes to the font style and/or the addition of trademarks/logos are permissible; however, doing so may alter the layout of your document, thereby altering the line references within the document. Again, it is the responsibility of the user to ensure that line numbers and line references coincide.
     
  • 2011 Residential Agreement to Buy or Sell

    Note that this form is not intended for use prior to January 1, 2011.

2010 Louisiana Residential Property Disclosure Form
AMENDMENTS:
Section One - Land
  • A new Question 1 has been added relative to lot size and acreage. All questions thereafter have been renumbered.
Section Six - Miscellaneous
  • Question 30.a relative to commercial or industrial zoning and historic district location has been divided into two questions, thereby creating Question 30.b
  • Question 37 relative to adverse conditions has been amended to include contaminated drywall/sheetrock.
Mandatory use of the amended Louisiana Residential Property Disclosure Form will become effective on January 1, 2010; however, immediate use is encouraged. See Chapter 36 of the Commission Rules and Regulations for additional information about the use of this form.
